Help with Rent, Water, Gas, Electric
Qualifications for financial assistance: must have income that usually covers monthly expense, must live in Dallas County excluding Garland and Irving, the rent or bills must be past due, name must b on the lease or bill, cannot assist with deposits, late fees, or transferred amounts, can only assist with one month of the past due rent or bill, the client must provide proof of the emergency.
Paperwork that the clients need to bring: copy of the lease, past due notice, ID and social security cards for everyone in the household, 2-3 of the most recent paycheck stubs or verification of any income that they may be receiving, proof of emergency, past due bill, proof of public assistance (food stamps, TANF, etc.) if applicable
